Here is a copy of Pilgrim's  Progress from the ccel.

There's an interesting time line:

Death of Queen Elizabeth 1603
Birth of Shakespeare: 1616
Birth of George Fox: 1624 was a few years older than Bunyan.
Baptism of John Bunyan 1628; he died in 1688.
Birth of William Blake 1758

Bunyan was among the best of the Puritans; he lived before the Enlightenment. Like Bunyan Fox was a dissenter but by no means a puritan.

Blake lived during the Enlightenment and virtually initiated the Romantic Movement (1800-1850).

Bunyan's father was a tinker (: a person who in the past traveled to different places and made money by selling or repairing small items such as pots and pans).

His son traveled in his father's footsteps.

The Bunyans were nonconformists, and John Bunyan joined the Parliamentary Army. At the end of the war he (and many others spent some time in prison.

Blake disagreed theologically with Fox and Bunyan, but was certainly to some extent influenced by each of them.
